SELF-HELP GROUP "GLÜCKSKINDER"
The history:

The Kinderwunsch Institute came up with the idea of creating a self-help group for involuntarily childless couples, for pregnant couples, but also at the same time for parents of babies and small children. The concept was finally launched in summer 2003.
Landmarks:

There are many self-help groups, as for example, alcoholics anonymous, or people suffering from a severe illness. Such groups attract throngs of people and do well for themselves. Former alcoholics must never again drink alcohol and the gravely ill certainly do not want to go through the same experience again.

But childless couples who want a child may be repeaters. That is no problem for this organization. The problem, if there is any at all, is that after a success, a pregnancy or a birth, no time is left to be interested in this club. However, unsuccessful couples would enjoy exchanging experiences with other couples, but also rather with those "not yet successful", as otherwise their own fate would be even harder to bear.

The difficulty is not to give birth to an organization but to maintain it and to make it interesting and attractive so that its members will also pitch in or show an interest in activities.
That is more difficult. For the lucky ones it is also a fact that groups like the three mentioned do not like meeting as much as others do.
